  Watson retains lead at Turnberry
Tom Watson will take a one-shot lead going into the final day of the 138th Open at Turnberry as he chases a fairytale sixth title.

The 59-year-old carded two birdies in his final three holes for a third-round 71 to end a compelling day four under.

Ross Fisher leads the British challenge after a 70 put him together with Australian Mathew Goggin one behind.
  Rose 'still contender' for Open
Hampshire's Justin Rose insists that he is still a contender at the 138th Open Championship after staying in the hunt with a third-round one-over 71.

Rose, who trails leader Tom Watson by six shots, told BBC Sport: "I'd like to be a couple of shots closer, but anything is possible.

"I hit the ball really well, phenomenally well, in fact, and a 65 was just a smidgeon away.
Moore wins in play-off at Wyndham
American Ryan Moore won a three-way play-off against Kevin Stadler and Jason Bohn to claim the Wyndham Championship at Greensboro.

Moore birdied the third extra hole to see off Stadler after Bohn was eliminated two holes earlier.

England's Justin Rose, who began the day one shot behind the leaders on 13 under, fired a final round 68 which left him two short of the US trio.
  Woods and Harrington make moves
Tiger Woods and Padraig Harrington both climbed into contention after the third round of The Barclays at Liberty National in New Jersey.

Both players fired four-under 67s to reach four under but were still five off the pace of Americans Paul Goydos and Steve Marino in the play-off event.
